Matthew Zaffino, Co-Chairperson
ICBC has been central to my university experience since my first executive meeting in first semester of first year, and has been more educational, enjoyable and rewarding than anything I could have expected. Past executive teams have been composed of ideal role models and great friends, and the 2011 executive members' initiative and hard work has already astounded me. Thus, I am absolutely extactic to be chairing ICBC 2011 with Doug. After Final Weekend, I will be leaving on a third year exchange to ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. I am considering pursuing a CA, a law degree and/or a career in consulting, and hope to do something entrepreneurial later on. Until then, ICBC and other extra-curricular endeavours, such as consulting with Creo Solutions, a student-run consulting firm, will keep me busy. Thank you to the faculty, sponsors and friends of ICBC for your ongoing support, and if there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. Best of luck to competitors, and I look forward to meeting you at Final Weekend 2011!

Doug Reeves, Co-Chairperson
ICBC has been a pivotal experience for me over my University years, and working with Matt this year has only strengthened my passion for this competition. I am a third year Commerce student, and just completed a semester abroad at Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Lisbon. After I graduate I hope to pursue a career in the Finance field, and hopefully find time to continue travelling and learning languages. ICBC has arguably taught me more than I could learn in a university classroom, and I owe all of the executive a large debt of gratitude for teaching me how to implement, whether in a professional setting, or while playing my favourite sports. Additionally, the supportive faculty and loyal sponsors continue to shape the ICBC experience, almost as much as our executive. I am excited to meet all our fantastic competitors in January, and to contribute to your ICBC experience. Good luck!

Irina Rakhimova: Sponsorship Officer
My exciting journey with the bright and incredibly friendly I.C.B.C team has started on the freezing cold but unforgettable Final Weekend, where I participated as a volunteer. Cutting my break short was the best thing I could have done to start off 2010 with a bang. I am thrilled to be a part of the ICBC Executive Team for the first time. Taking on the role of a Sponsorship Officer, I am eager to ensure that ICBC and QCC leave lasting and valuable memories for our generous corporate partners, competitors and all those involved. I am currently a first year student, who loves to play chess and travel. This year, I had the opportunity to build a home in Tijuana, Mexico. I am also part of the Queen’s Business Forum on Fashion Industry Executive Team as a Sponsorship Coordinator. This summer, I am working with Molson’s National Mentoring Program for a charity, Meal Exchange to alleviate hunger through fundraising and awareness campaigns. Samantha Nakano, Publications Officer
During my first year in the Commerce Program, I signed up with a friend to be volunteers for the "Inter-Collegiate Business Competition" -- something which we had no idea what it was. What had resulted after a mere three days was one of the best weekends of year; I was astounded by the level of commitment and quality shown by both the competitors and the executive. As Publications Officer for 2010/2011, I am overjoyed to be a part of an amazing group of people who will work tirelessly and strive to maintain the same I.C.B.C. prestige. My other roles include a Graphic Designer for Oil Thigh Designs, a customized clothing company, and an Analyst for Creo Solutions, a market consulting firm. I am eager to meet all the competitors during Final Weekend, and as they say in Gaelic, "Boa sorte"! (Good Luck!)
