Samir Kulkarni, Co-ChairpersonIt is my distinct pleasure to serve alongside Ziming as one of the Co-Chairpersons for the 2014 edition of the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition. Joining the executive team back in 2010 as a first-year intern, I have been fortunate enough to experience the brilliant camaraderie and exemplary competitive spirit that define I.C.B.C. thrice now, holding roles including Finance event coordinator and Operations Officer over the past few years. In my third year of pursuing both a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Queen’s, I am currently completing a semester abroad at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Besides my involvement in I.C.B.C., I sit on the Advisory Board of the Queen’s Commerce Society and can often be found in the depths of the library—watching Jeopardy!. Ziming Yang, Co-ChairpersonI am honoured to serve as one of the Co-Chairpersons alongside Samir Kulkarni for the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition 2014, and I'm extremely excited to meet more of the brightest business students from across Canada and the world. I started my journey as a volunteer in first year, and have since then coordinated several events, managed international recruiting, and last year directed the Queen’s Case Competition. When I'm not working on I.C.B.C., I like to head to the gym to shoot some hoops or grab a bite to eat on Princess Street. I'm currently on exchange at EDHEC - Nice, in France. Chloe Tait, University LiaisonMy involvement with I.C.B.C. began in my first weeks at Queen’s, when I joined the 2011 executive as a First-Year Representative. I volunteered at last year’s competition, and am now the University Liaison for I.C.B.C. 2013. I am very much looking forward to being in contact with Faculty Advisors and prospective competitors from around Canada and the world, in preparation for another year of enthralling competition. At Queen’s, I am also a writer for the Commerce Society Media Team, and an avid member of the Queen’s Yoga Club. Justin Huang, International Recruiting, Public Relations, and Ethics and MIS Events CoordinatorI am entering my third year at Queen's Commerce and it is my pleasure to be serving as the International Recruiting, Public Relations and Ethics & MIS Events Coordinator for I.C.B.C. 2014. Last year I had an incredible experience as a volunteer for both the Queen's Case Competition and Final Weekend events. This year, I could not be more excited to be part of the team that is working to make the best I.C.B.C. yet. Apart from I.C.B.C., I volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and I will also be working as a board consultant for a charity in the fall. In addition, I fuel my passion for sports by being heavily involved in intramural basketball and soccer. Next winter, I am eager to be heading to Maastricht University in the Netherlands for an international exchange. Mehwish Panjwani, Canadian Recruiting, Internal Marketing, and Marketing Event CoordinatorAs a second year student in the Bachelor of Commerce program at Queen’s, I am honored to serve as this year’s Canadian Recruiting, Internal Marketing, and Marketing event Coordinator for I.C.B.C. Timothy Wang, Campus Logistics Officer and Finance Event CoordinatorAs a commerce student entering my second year here at Queen’s, I am very excited to be taking on the role of Logistics Coordinator and Finance Events Coordinator for I.C.B.C. 2014. After experiencing Final Weekend as a volunteer in 2013, I knew that I.C.B.C. was something special. The calibre of the competitors, the dedication of the volunteers, and the experience of the judges made for a buzzing atmosphere that lasted all throughout the competition. Sudiksha Shrimali, Sponsorship DirectorEntering my third year in the Bachelor of Commerce student at Queen’s University, I am ecstatic to be a member of this year’s executive team once again as the Sponsorship Director. My experiences with I.C.B.C. – in 2013 as a Sponsorship Coordinator and, in 2012, as a volunteer – have provided me with the opportunity to witness high-calibre presentations by the competitors and the remarkable professionalism demonstrated by the rest of the executive and volunteers. In addition to I.C.B.C., I am a Vendor & Supplier Relations Officer for the Commerce Society and volunteer at a local elementary school once a week through Commerce Kids. I was first introduced to I.C.B.C. last year as a competitor in the Queen’s Case Competition. Eric Wu, IT OfficerEntering my 4th year of Commerce at Queen's University, I am very proud and excited to join the I.C.B.C. 2014 Executive as the IT Officer. From my first I.C.B.C. experiences as a volunteer and competitor at QCC, I have always been impressed by the calibre of competitors and the support of sponsors and judges alike. Jasmine Xiao, Queen’s Case Competition and Debate Event CoordinatorHaving been on the I.C.B.C. executive team for the past 2 years, I can genuinely say that I.C.B.C. has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my university experience. Now back as the QCC Director and Debate Event Coordinator, I am thrilled to be part of the executive once again and am incredibly excited to see it all come together again for the competition’s 36th anniversary. Currently, I am a second year student of Queen’s University, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Aside from I.C.B.C., I am also the Graphics Manager for Oil Thigh Designs, an attendant for the Techplex and am one of the hip hop dancers for Flow Performance Crew. Lisa Chandler, Competitive Events Case CoordinatorI am a third year student at Queen’s, working towards a Dual Degree in Commerce and Arts (Classics). I am delighted to be Cases Coordinator for I.C.B.C. 2014, following my role as Logistics Coordinator last year. I was amazed by the dedication and spirit which all teams brought to last year’s event, and it was an amazing experience. I hope to provide exciting and challenging cases for this year’s competitors, in keeping with the competition’s rich history. In addition to I.C.B.C. I am the Finance Director of Queen’s Autonomous Sailboat team, and an official with Queen’s Intramurals. Flora Chiang, Financial Officer and Accounting Event CoordinatorEntering my third year of the Commerce program at Queen’s University, I am honoured to serve as the Financial Officer and Accounting Event Coordinator for the 2014 Inter-Collegiate Business Competition. After volunteering at I.C.B.C. 2013, I am excited to explore my love of case competitions with this year’s passionate executive team.
