Dennis Freeman, FCADennis Freeman is the Managing Partner of KPMG’s Transaction Services practice in Canada, and a senior member of KPMG’s Global Transactional Services practice. In these roles, he is responsible for the effective co-ordination and completion of all of our transaction services offerings to our domestic and international client base. Dennis works closely with our functional areas and industry groups to ensure that we have the right mix of skills in place to successfully complete each engagement. He is very experienced in all areas of our transactional services offerings, including: pre-deal evaluation, deal structuring, financial and tax due diligence, contract assistance, and post-merger integration. Dennis has worked with a significant number of large multi-national corporates and large private equity firms on a number of complex cross border transactions. Globally, Dennis is a member of KPMG’s Global Strategy Committee for Advisory, which sets the Advisory strategy for the firm. In 2006, the Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) designation was awarded to Dennis by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Election to Fellowship, the highest designation that the Institute confers, recognizes outstanding career achievements and leadership contributions to the community and the profession. |

Gord Mount, CAGord Mount is an Audit Partner at KPMG in the Consumer Markets practice based out of the Toronto office. He serves a variety of companies that are publicly traded, subsidiaries of multinational and privately held corporations. In addition to client service responsibilities at KPMG, Gord chairs the Audit Management Career Guidance Committee. Gord is an alumni of Queen’s University, having graduated in the B. Comm. (Hon.) program in 1980, and looks forward to having reasons to come back and visit Queen’s. Gord is married to Paula, and they have four children ranging in age from 14 to 22; Alison, Jillian, Olivia, and Graham. |
