Bob Binns

 

Bob Binns

Bob is Caro's CEO. Bob is a highly effective Senior Executive who has successfully built and operated businesses within the technology and services industry. Comfortable in the boardroom, and on the front line, Mr. Binns is accomplished at developing and recruiting high performance leadership and operational teams that embrace change and drive measurable operational results.

Prior to joining Caro Bob was President of Unisys Canada, where he was responsible for the overall operations of the Canadian subsidiary. He has also held senior positions at Microsoft, Bank of Montreal and IBM.

Bob began his career in corporate finance and moved through increasingly responsible positions including systems engineering, product management, sales, consulting, and general management.

He is a graduate of Queen's University and has studied at Harvard Business School and John F. Kennedy School of Government.

   
Scott Campbell

Scott Campbell

Scott Campbell is Vice-President, Operations at Coradix Technology Consulting Ltd. in Ottawa. Coradix offers the highest caliber consultants—whether employees or independent contractors—the best opportunities in systems development, application maintenance, business intelligence, information management and management consulting. Scott has over thirty years of experience in the IM/IT field, half in consulting and half in the manufacturing industry. He has managed a wide variety of large-scale system development and integration projects and is currently advising several federal government clients with regards to their IM/IT strategies and project management practices.

An enthusiastic wilderness canoe camper, Scott is a graduate of the University of Guelph (B.Sc ’73) and Wilfred Laurier University (MBA ’81), educated as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP). This is his twelfth year judging the MIS event at I.C.B.C.

   

Geof Goebel

 

Geof Goebel

Geof Goebel has significant domain expertise in supply chain planning and execution as well as consumer and industrial manufacturing.  Over his 20+ years in Information Systems, Mr. Goebel has lead the design and delivery of enterprise class business solutions resulting in significant increased business value and capability.

Leading up to these roles Mr. Goebel served as a consultant to several large Canadian, US, and UK firms providing project management and general consulting services.  At Keane Canada he was named consultant of the year for his leadership and development of the Packaged Software Implementation practise.  Among his many notable achievements, is the creation of a 250-person software development center in Halifax NS.

Mr. Goebel completed the Business Information Systems program at Fanshawe College in London, ON.  He has held designations in inventory management (CPIM) and completed coursework in project management.

   

Mike Milinkovich

 

 

Mike Milinkovich

Mike Milinkovich is a 20-year industry veteran with both hands-on and leadership experience in all aspects of the business including engineering, development management, product management, training and services, business development, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property management and licensing.

Currently, he is the Executive Director of The Eclipse Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation supporting the Eclipse open-source community and commercial ecosystem. Under his leadership, Eclipse has grown into one of the world's most successful open source communities.

Most recently, Mr. Milinkovich was a Vice President in Oracle's Development Group. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Milinkovich was Vice President of Worldwide Services for WebGain and President of WebGain Canada. His career also includes IBM, Object Technology International, and The Object People. Mr. Milinkovich earned his Master of Science degree in Information and Systems Sciences and a Bachelor' of Commerce degree from Carleton University.

Steve White

Steve White is president of Effectivation Inc., a leading firm in sales skills training and consulting. With more than 25 years experience in information technology sales and senior sales management assignments, Steve brings a great deal of credibility to the learning environment.

Steve was VP sales and marketing at NCR Canada, an information technology company, where he led the team focused on the financial services industry, NCR Canada’s largest division. He was also international marketing director at NCR's corporate offices in Dayton, Ohio where he distinguished himself as an expert in the application of banking technologies and integrated solutions.

As a trainer, consultant, and coach, Steve has gained respect in the business development community for his engaging and effective delivery of consultative sales programs. He has delivered sales training to more than 5,000 participants.  Since purchasing Effectivation in 1998, Steve has worked with many Canadian clients, including CGI, Pitney Bowes, NCR, Research in Motion, Sierra Systems Group and Teradata.

Steve is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants, the Canadian Professional Sales Association and the Strategic Account Management Association, as well as a frequent guest lecturer at Queen's University in the School of Business and the Executive Development Program.  He earned his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University and has an MBA from Santa Clara University in California.
