Your organization will be recognized in the opening speech given by the Executive Director of the Queen’s Commerce program, and then you will have the opportunity to speak to the over 220 assembled competitors, judges, sponsors, executive, and volunteers. The Opening Banquet serves as a remarkable first impression for all in attendance at the Final Weekend.

The Final Banquet is simply thrilling. Everyone enters the event brimming with enthusiasm, and as the award ceremonies progress the excitement continues to grow. Competitors, judges, sponsor reps, and volunteers socialize, celebrate, and enjoy each other’s company. Your organization will have the opportunity to provide a final word and to say “See you next year” to everyone at the event. The Preliminary Round allows students from across Canada and abroad to compete for a position in the Final Round. Last year, over 300 competitors from over 30 schools applied. Our Wine and Cheese is the first official welcome to I.C.B.C.’s Final Round. Competitors, volunteers, advisors, executive, and fellow sponsors from around the nation are excited to be meeting for the first time. The Competitors’ Dinner is a relaxed and social event. Students from across Canada and around the world get to know each other, and have a great opportunity to speak with sponsors. The sponsor of the Competitors’ Dinner will be able to speak in a more casual setting. Your company’s name will brand the event that is traditionally hosted at a popular Kingston restaurant, Fanatics.
